When you come in to The Vision Clinic for your supply of contacts, a Licensed Optician will fit, evaluate, and teach you how to use and properly care for your lenses – all at no additional charge.

Soft

Soft contact lenses have come quite a long way since 1971 when they made their first appearance in the optical world. Available in both clear and coloured lenses, soft contacts are healthier and more comfortable than ever.

In recent years, with the creation of silicone hydrogel lenses, longer wearing schedules, higher patient comfort, and better ocular health are all standard when you follow the advice of your vision care providers.

By sticking with the recommended wearing schedule and care regime of your Licensed Optician at The Vision Clinic, freedom from glasses is within your reach!

Soft contact lenses are available:

  • Clear
  • Colours
  • Nearsighted
  • Farsighted
  • Astigmatism

Hard or Rigid

Rigid contact lenses, or RGP’s, as they are sometimes referred to, are a form of vision correction that uses a small, button-like clear lens on the cornea of the eye. Arguably the healthiest and most stable type of contact lens vision correction, rigid lenses are available to correct most types of prescriptions, including astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness.

Disposables

  • – Daily – Daily disposable contact lenses are the healthiest choice when it comes to disposable contact lenses – and the most convenient! By using each set of lenses only once, you are never exposed to unhealthy bacteria that can build up on lenses in the event of misguided care or maintenance. There is also the added benefit of saving on the cost of contact lens storage solutions!
  • – Bi-weekly – By replacing your contact lenses every 14 days, your eyes will stay more moist, longer during the day and throughout your wearing period. From your Optician’s perspective, the more frequently your replace your contact lenses, the healthier it will be for your eyes.
  • – Monthly – 30 day wear lenses are convenient, healthy and cost effect, when you follow the wearing schedule given by your Optician. Available to correct virtually every type of prescription, monthly contact lenses are a great option whether you’re a full time or occasional wearer.

Bifocal/Multifocal Lenses

Gone are the days of popping on a pair of readers over top of your contact lenses! Bifocal and Multifocal contact lenses are better than ever, and available in most prescriptions
